Does anyone still think GGG should have taken the flat fee?

I'm purely just speculating but lets say the promoters split half the figures with the distributors it's 80m and lets go on the low end for K2 so 30% = 26.666m so lets say that's split between fighter and promoter = 13.33m for GGG so 18m before gates which would be around 3m based on the same percentages I think GGG made $20m which represents a good cut if we are talking about more money is better than less money which when it comes to getting paid is usually the case.

Fait to assume since the purse split was 63/37 that would be how some of the other splits would work out rather than use B.S figures.
Where’s the official 2 mil? What were the Floyd vs McBoner numbers?

Where's the official 1.6M? HBO are saying it's around 2m last I heard. No idea what the August 26th fight drew.

That the point people are “saying.” Until actual numbers are released then we can postulate 1.5-2million

At any rate, I don’t see GBP giving more than 20% PPV. In real life you split cash based on meritocracy. Who needs Who? They chose A side Nelo over BJS for undisputed unification

They both needed each other enough to the point that a 20% split is unrealistic as proven by the 5m/3m purse guarantee.

LOL. GGG isn't a draw. $15 million he should be lucky with. He should take it and run. GGG can't sell out. LMAO. The ppv won't do more than 600k buys.

You are trying to defend something without knowing real numbers, but if one can speculate,it is a fact that GGG made more money than a flat fee, even if it was one dollar,he still made more..I dont know about your personal wealth, but in my case, one million dollars its a lot of money, shoot, for the average american its about 15-20 years of work,so,if he made more money, good for him,and everybody knows that a flat fee its dumb, you can say GGG isnt a draw, but if Canelo would have fought, jacobs or lemiux, the numbers would have been smith numbers,so yes,GGG is a draw.

Or course not, only the naturally lobotomized thought he should have. He likely made between $20-30M for this fight. Hes going to make that amouny again in the rematch, if not more.
