The card featuring their entertaining middleweight championship bout September 16 generated more revenue from tickets sales than all but two events in boxing history. According to information released by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, Alvarez-Golovkin produced $27,059,850 in revenue from 17,318 tickets sold to their 12-round draw at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
