Where did all these British elite fighters come from?

For the longest time the only world class British fighter was Joe Calzaghe but look at the landscape of boxing now.

    AJ is the best heavyweight
    Bellew is the best cruiser
Degale is the best super middle
Campbell arguably beat the best 135 pounder
Champions at feather, bantam and super fly

How did the U.K. end up with so many top fighters all of a sudden

I think Usyk, Gassiev and Dorticos whoop up Bellew. I like Degale I'm just not sure he would beat Benavidez or Zurdo...

lots of other good fighers too, groves brook eubank jr and khan are world level fighters, dubois is on the rise, the young prospect connor benn has been looking sensational and the olympic standout joe joyce will be making his debut soon after an outstanding amateur career. Anthony yarde is also coming along nicely.

There is no elite UK fighters, they might look elite to when they're fighting domestic Euro bums but once they step up and fight fighters from the US or Latin America, they struggle or get beat. AJ might be the best UK fighter now but only time will tell. His biggest win is against an older Klitch. Campbell being is the best 135 is laughable, Mikey would wreck him. Same goes for the other fighters mentioned. There's fighters that would beat them in their division.

Seems like they have a system where fighters can make a living Even in the lower ranks
