No your not because I would really like to see it. I used to think that kovalev would stop Stevenson but now I'm not so sure. I don't think kovalev will be the same fighter after the Ward stoppage loss.

Adonis is fighting Alvarez, 23-0, coming off wins over Bute and Pascal in 2017. Kovalev is fighting Shabranskyy, 20-1, coming off a TKO loss to Barerra in December 2016, and he has not fought since! That's all you really need to know about Kovalev, and Main Events' confidence in Kovalev! He's not fighting the WBC LHW Champ, nor is he fighting 2 guys who are both ranked higher, and both signed to Main Events!

They really should fight, so if they have to have interim fights I hope they both win because that is a fight I have wanted to see for a long time.

How about the fact that they were set for an HBO showdown before Stevenson tucked tail and ran. This could have happened before any purse bid am I right? You clowns tend to leave that little fact out. Lol fan #1 here, where are the other 4 clowns lol. Incoming money excuse in less than an hour.

HBO was gonna pay less than 2 million for the fight. Why would anyone split to 2 million for a big fight like that? Duva can't afford to pay her fighters so she was ok with that but Stevenson knew the fight was worth more than that and Showtime was willing to pay Stevenson more money. HBO refused to match the offer. Kovalev has fought Pascal, Hopkins and Ward but has ended up taking peanuts for those fights from Duva and HBO. They could have lost the purse bid but they would have ended up making more money from Showtime and taking the belt from Stevenson.

Oops! Shabranskyy is 22-1, coming off wins over (wait for it) Larry Pryor (10-15) in April, and Todd May (10-0-1) in August! Thanks for the correction. That made a world of difference! Lol! It's a garbage fight, and you can't justify why Kovalev is NOT fighting Barerra, NOR Bivol, when they're all 3 signed to Main Events!

so u basically are saying adonis 1 wrong (and it's actually not his fault ath showtime wanted to pay him more than hbo do to fight hopkins!) is equal to kovalev's 3 wrongs?
