Promotional dispute. he is wirh GYM for a bit longer and was waiting out the contract he is being promoted by TOP RANK for this fight, since he is still under promotion from GYM (groupe yvon michel) will be getting paid without lifting a finger, I think the contract ends within a year. GYM was a horrible promoter for him.

I hate it when boxers go through shit like this. I just thought what happened to him because he had a great 2015 but the momentum hasn't carried on like I thought it would.

He is not affiliated with Top Rank whatsoever. I think he just begged his way into the card.

The fight with Koelling was delayed for months because of Artur's dispute with GYM, and before that the Barrera fight fell through (allegedly due to financial concerns from the Barrera camp). One of the reasons for the dispute between Artur and his promoter was the lack of fights he was getting. It would be great to see him fight more regularly and if he can get the IBF belt and link with a decent promoter then hopefully that will happen.
