Well, yeah. Now, he is. Between Lara acting like he didn't want the fight and Andrade terrible management, the fight was never going to happen. It's probably for the best that Andrade just moved up..

But even rejects in special cases welcome fellow rejects.

They could have had one of those rivalries this sport is craving for.
A trilogy would have ensued and they would have made money they probably wouldn't in their current situation.
And they would not have to look for fights for a year.

Lara is the WBA super champ and Andrade is the WBA regular champ. Therefore that makes him Lara's mandatory.

All he has to do is wait for the WBA to order that negotiations begin, which is set to happen in October, ie. Next month.

But Andrade conveniently has to move up to Middleweight just before he is mandated to negotiate with Lara.

It's obvious that he is the one ducking Lara and not the other way around. Don't forget there is an easily accessible interview of Andrade blatantly declaring that he would only fight Lara as a last resort.

Andrade is a waste of space. I'd suggest you not waste your time defending or supporting him. I already been there, and was bitterly dissapointed once I started really looking into him.

He has ducked and pulled out of so many fights you wouldn't believe it.

Go look into it and you'll see for yourself.

in a bloodless, scratch-less fight on his part.
He could have fought another fight the next day.
Or he could have negotiated with Andrade after his Culcay fight.
But it's too late now. Andrade had moved up and with HBO. Legit excuses for both camps to say.
