He just fought retired Foreman and comes back after 8 months of inactivity and fights Gausha.
That guy should retire for good.
Andrade has the WBA regular he could fight someone. And if not September it would obviously happened after the Gausha fight for negotiations.

Decubas and Lara never wanted Andrade.
They wanted a green guy like Hurd.
Hurd turned them down, just like when Harrison was approached.
Truth is Andrade never wanted Lara either.
But at that point, Andrade was being cornered and felt obligated to negotiate with Lara's team.
Right now, I don't think it will ever happen.
        Circumstances have changed.

Mark my word. Lara will have a hard time looking for fights for many years to come. Andrade would have been a gold mine within easy reach.

Lara and Andrade were ordered to negotiate in September by the sanctioning body.

Despite rumblings that Erislandy Lara, the WBA 'super' champion at 154, was taking a stay-busy bout in the fall, the representatives of Demetrius Andrade (who h

Crazy that on the 2008 U.S. Men's team Andrade was supposed to be the biggest star of the group. Fast forward almost 10 years later he hasn't come close to that.

Promoting matters whether fans want to acknowledge it or not. Hopefully his second stint on HBO will lead to bigger and better things.

Lara is the WBA super champ and Andrade is the WBA regular champ. Therefore that makes him Lara's mandatory.

All he has to do is wait for the WBA to order that negotiations begin, which is set to happen in October, ie. Next month.

But Andrade conveniently has to move up to Middleweight just before he is mandated to negotiate with Lara.

It's obvious that he is the one ducking Lara and not the other way around. Don't forget there is an easily accessible interview of Andrade blatantly declaring that he would only fight Lara as a last resort.

Andrade is a waste of space. I'd suggest you not waste your time defending or supporting him. I already been there, and was bitterly dissapointed once I started really looking into him.

He has ducked and pulled out of so many fights you wouldn't believe it.

Go look into it and you'll see for yourself.
