Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom is mapping out the middleweight landscape for his newest client, for WBA 'regular' middleweight champion Daniel Jacobs (32-2, 29 KOs). Hearn officially announced the signing of Jacobs this past weekend and intends to keep him very busy in the next twelve months. BoxingScene.com first reported a few days ago that Jacobs was being lined up to face undefeated Luis 'Cuba' Arias (18-0, 9 KOs) in the main event of an HBO televised card on November 11 at Nassau Coliseum in New York City.

This is just smoke & mirrors coming from Eddie Hearn. I would love to these fights he keeps calling out but he will learn the hard way between promoting in the U.K. compared to the U.S. I would love to see Charlo vs Jacobs but that fight will never happen.

Apparently Danny is a superstar now lol. This is about the 30th article on Danny since Saturday. Danny's an entertaining fighter and a cancer survivor so you have to respect him but his last two fights, the most significant of his career, were watched by a combined 500K people (330K avg. on Showtime vs. Quillin and 170K buys on HBO PPV vs. Golovkin). Let's try to maintain perspective on his position in this sport. I think we'd all like to see him get another crack at Golovkin, but he's not a guy that the boxing world is constantly checking for.
