Cleverly got gifted the interim title in a fight he was losing and his opponent got injured (vs. Braehmer which you didn't see). His recent resume includes a blowout loss to Kovalev (who's not good either apparently) and lopsided loss to Bellew (lol) and loss to Fonfara (lol).

If winning the title was so important it should have been important to keep it longer than 6 weeks rather than face a bum (Bivol).
