Wladimir Klitschko is quite possible the greatest combat athlete in history, never mind just boxing. All this talk about GGG having to move up in weight by critics. Guess what? Wladimir Klitschko fought in the heaviest division available in boxing. His domination is unparalleled by any boxer in the history of this sport. So no one can use the 'has to move up in weight division and challenge himself DOE' excuse to diminish Wladimir Klitschko's achievements like they keep doing to Golovkin.

When guys like Gatti and Mancini were put in I lost all respect for the Hof average Fighters both of them at best... picture either one of these guys vs Duran...

Not to mention if cotto retires in December as planned, that will make it even more difficult. They may have to make an exception to the 3 fighter rule because it'd be ridiculous if someone like Gatti is a first ballot hall of famer and someoneike ward, cotto, klitchko aren't. I'm sure Roy and mayweather will get in first ballot regardless though.

Like most things in pro boxing, including promoters, state commissions, championship belts, rankings, P4P lists etc, BHOF is a bad joke and a con (and this is coming from someone who respects boxers and appreciates what they do).

RJJ, Ward, Toney, Floyd. The greatest HOF class of all time!

Edit: based strictly off accomplishments and not "reputation", if Roy and Toney both retire this year (and let's hope to god they do) my HOF ranking would be:
                  1. RJJ
                  2. Toney
                  3. Ward
                  4. Floyd

They need to make an exception and let all 4 in. Would be a total insult to boxing if Gatti level fighters are in but these 4 aren't first ballot. Klitschko's ass can wait till the following lol.

This is not a P4P contest, the IBHOF inductees induction is based upon the body ofwork in their careers, being a dominant boxer in their division(s), etc. 2022 IBHOF Inductees= Mayweather- 1st Ballot, Klitschko- 1st Ballot, Roy Jones Jr- 1st Ballot the retirement and inclusion of Andre Ward muddies the water some for RJJ. Ward is 32-0, Jones didn't lose his first bout until his 35th fight on a DQ to Montell Griffin by then he had aleady won Middleweight and Super Middleweight titles. In his next bout a rematch with Griffin for the WBO Light Heavyweight title he won by KO1. Jones continued his career with many great fights along with winning the Cruiserweight title. RJJ's stay at the top of the P4P list was much longer than Ward's and the fact he fought much higher level competition and is still considered an P4P ATG, no body better during his era. Ward will be inducted in 2023, 2021 already had BHop, Sugar Shane assuming they stay retired.

Quite right. I doubt the people who vote on the inductees even reference previous P4P stats. The P4P rankings are purely subjective listings at any particular time, but many of the criteria used in placing boxers in P4P lists during their active careers will be similar to the criteria used later in determining whether they are inducted into the HOF - so the two will be quite highly correlated, but one doesn't necessarily reference the other.
