Thought this was possible after looking at the WBO rankings. Parker wins by brutal destrcution, Fujimoto got put to sleep by Haumono ffs. If they go the US route it probably ends up being a rematch with Ruiz on an Arum ESPN card

Lol when I read the article I thought to myself "good on him, make a Quick buck, do something different fighting in a Japan, against an unknown but hopefully reasonable opponent in fujimoto 18-1".. but if the dude got sparked by haumono he's not really national level let alone world level.... haumono is a pub fighter

From the point of view of Parker's team it's a payday and a chance for an impressive stoppage after a frustrating year. As a fan do i like it? Not really but at least he traveled overseas and beat his mandatory an undefeated prospect. Can't knock him for doing that he has now amassed a nice looking resume compared to most heavyweights. It's all about the AJ vs Pulev and Ortiz vs Wilder fights for now great finish to 2017.
