I think the division has fluctuated a lot across the last 17 years. At the start of the century there Hopkins, Tito and co. Tito didn't last and Hopkins fought through a collection of nobodies, although Oscar passed through, Sturm regained his title. By the end of the first 21st century decade, the division was heating up again and by the time Martinez became champ, Pavlik, Taylor, Sturm, Macklin, Geale and Barker were all in and around the division.

GGG cleaned up what was left, although cotto never stayed and Canelo got beta (lets be honest). Now theres Lem, Jacobs, Charlo, maybe Andrade, Saunders and Canelo.

    Not bad.

      BJS (unfortunately)
Lara (knows he should be 160)
Andrade (knows he should be 160)

Charlo is a real threat and a youngie
Yeah, I wouldn't say it's a "stacked" division at the moment, but there are some good fighters in the top 10. It's definitely top heavy at the moment

Wow using "former cancer patient" to discredit a fighter.

You are a piece of chit

They got no moral and always blame white people when they can't stay away from crime. **** Trump, **** white Americans, **** black Americans, **** the war on drugs, **** the American wars. However... USA got the best boxers. I put my bias aside and let the results talk. If American boxers lose, I don't give a ****. If American boxers win, I don't give a ****.

2: Middleweight sucks. Golovkin (white/asian) is above average, Jacobs (black/american) is above average, Canelo (mexican/gingermutant) is above average. None of them are anything special though. The rest of the division are useless. When more than 50% of the boxing divisions are better than middleweight, then you really can't call it a good division in any way. Put your opinions away, brother. Feel the fire.

They are good boxers, sure, but certainly not in the same league as guys like Terrence Crawford, Andre Ward, Anthony Joshua, Lomachenko, Rigondeaux, etc. When Wilder beats Ortiz, even Wilder will have a better resume than Golovkin. Middleweight is a dead division with way too few good fighters. If Golovkin moved down, he would lose to Lara, and if he moved up, he would lose to several super middleweights. Middleweight is just weak enough to control, but Jacobs and Canelo have weakened his grasp...

Golovkin has beaten no one, Canelo has arguably lost 3 times (Mayweather, Lara, Trout), Jacobs is a cancer patient, etc.

Saunders is where he always was at, people just thought Lemieux was good and Eubank ******, so it took this fight for people to realize that yes, Saunders is the only truly skilled middleweight fighter in the world.
