Comments Thread For: Frampton: Frank Warren Deal is Best Chance To Get Massive Fights

Carl Frampton officially confirmed a story first reported by Shaun Brown of BoxingScene.com, revealing that he indeed signed a promotional deal with Frank Warren, which means the Jackal will fight on BT Sport and BoxNation - both of which are available outlets for Warren promoted fighters. The Northern-Ireland fighter, who held two world-titles in two different weight classes, recently split with longtime promoter/manager Barry McGuigan after an underwhelming year. And also split with head trainer Shane McGuigan and hired Jamie Moore.

He will beat some B-level guy, make some more money, lose another big fight (if Warren does manage to get one for him) and fade out.

Why do you repeat the same exact article the writer for boxing scene does?

I like Frampton. He's a great boxer and I enjoyed his fight with Quigg and felt he did a great job with Santa Cruz in their first bout. I'd like to see the trilogy and hopefully gets some big fights with his new deal.
