He needs to make one major adjustment that Bread (as usual) picked up right away.
As Canelo was spinning left off the ropes GGG kept missing his right hand. He needs to figure out how to adjust to connect there. If he does, it will make a huge difference.
I doubt GGG's stamina will collapse by next May and I doubt Canelo's will improve, so I see much the same fight with much the same result.
All in all, I see both fighters making small adjustments but I wouldn't be surprised if pretty much the same result played out again - GGG clearly winning a competitive fight.

So where is the mileage for him to make him such an aged fighter?
You can't have it both ways. Pressure fighters lose a lot of mileage because they get hit a lot, but yawl been feeding us this GGG has good defense nonsense for years so you can't use that excuse.
Also, his fights never went the distance which means even less mileage.
He hasn't been in wars coz his bum opponents retreated and got KO'd early so there again, less mileage.
But now that he exposed by higher level comp yawl wana cry age? Same guys who wanted a 40 year old welterweight to fight a middleweight 'power puncher' and awana cry age now?
SMH! Can't make this shieeet up!
Ps. Charlo knocks out this fool in 8 rounds.

He hasn't deteriorated, his mentality has changed, though. Before he was methodical and would slowly break down fighters, but now he just seems too desperate to get a KO because anything less than a KO is shat upon by writers. Lampley is right...what happened to his body work?

Now Golovkin is the only fighter who isn't allowed to slow down in he's mid 30s.Biology doesn't apply to him. He must now be the one exception in boxing history. How sore can you be to see another mans success? Hide the jealousy, it looks so weak.

uneducated people think Russia doesn't have a populous of epicanthic fold looking people or millenia of it mixture.Darker skin would mean other ethnicities. For example, Chechens, Dagestanis and etc. There are also those who look Asian - tatar mongol influence. By citizenship all these ethnic groups are Russian, but ethnicity-wise they are not and they will be the first to tell you about it
American is a bit more complex because of history of melting pot. True American is indianbut that is quite argumentative these days, isn't it?
GGG's native is Russian. He looks more Russian to me that Korean. There is not much Kazakh about him at least in appearance. His twin brother Max, interestingly enough, looks more Asian than GGG.
Canelo is Mexican though. By ethnicity, not by boxing style. GGG is also Mexican. By boxing style

As much as I don't want to be so..GGG for whatever reason has lost the ferociousness, the fire, and tempest that lead him to break down opponents.
If we subscribe to the theory of Ockham's razor, then the simplest explanation is age and weariness.
Being a major star also takes its toll if you don't get the balance right, so I don't think there are signs it's due to Gennady's lifestyle.
He doesn't get into trouble, he has an even temperament but has been boxing since he was a kid.
If it's not age, the only other plausible explanation is he is taking a safety-first approach in fights, boxing more than brawling.
Perhaps he needs a 'stay busy' fight with an opponent who doesn't really pose a real threat to him, in order to test if he can assault opponents with the methodical ferocity pre-Jacobs.

Sports science has revealed, generally speaking, that the male physique hits the top of the bell curve around 33-34 years of age, and then begins to trend downwards.
It is not sudden, but inevitable currently. Exceptions include superior genetics, psychological toughness, focus, competitive spirit and good health.
For every B-Hop there are a thousand antipodes.
The exception to this is that 30 years ago 30 was considered old. Now it's an age where many fighters are running at title shots, and there is a surfeit of fighters now fighting into their early 40's.
Is this a result of improvements in sports science, new training techniques and better management of boxers lifestyles? Or has evolution made a small but discernable leap in a generation?
