Lampley is another fan of the sport with an opinion like the rest of us. 1/3 of the people on this board could do his job (content-wise) with ease, I'd surmise.
Guys like Kellerman are more nuanced.

He only "aged" when he stepped up in competition. That's just coincidence though and has nothing to do with him not looking as good.

No you're wrong, he aged because he got older. Nobody wanted to fight him when he was in his prime. Canelo Alvarez choose to relinquish his belt and wait a couple more years to fight GGG.

It's impossible to tell because the comp.only got better as he got older. It's hard for me to envision 2012 GGG not knocking Canelo out but who knows?? Peace.

The "better" competition didn't want anything to do with GGG when he was in his prime. Alvarez waited for him to age the sam way SRL waited for Marvin Hagler to get older before fighting him.
