G is a 35 yo pressure fighter so of course he´s past his best. Then again, he still beat the Golden Cash Cow who had youth, speed and most likely weight advantage so I´d say Golovkin must be pretty good..? (btw I can live with the D, on second wathing I gave Canelo all the swing rds and had it 114-114)

Golovkin looked spectacular when he was knocking out lesser competition. It took a WW, a cancer patient, and guy with stamina issues to show that he's not the monster everyone made him out to be. I'm sure the guy you think is my idol would make easy work out of him.

Well, no ****. Golovkin's well into his 35th year and it's starting to show. Add in the improved competition and it's clear that it's only a matter of time til he takes his first L. I'm finding it baffling that some posters are genuinely claiming his age is nothing to do with his apparent decline... like any fighter is actually better at 35 than at say 32 or 33 (pretty much the age when gained experience can no longer outweigh physical decline except in a small minority of outlying cases).

Well hbo and golden boy better hope that this deteriorating version of ggg doesn't beat their cash cow in a rematch. That'd be terrible for business if a supposed old worn down fighter beats the young in their prime superstar face of boxing.
