Lmfao, ESPN have the Kazakh no.1 ? I didn't even consider Canelo a top ten pound for pound fighter before he fought Golovkin after the draw I felt he was deserving of being included with Golovkin undeserving of being amongst the top five before Ward retired, now that Ward has retired I'd have said top five but on the back of his last three performances my personal opinion would be that he's slipping, top 8 maybe 7, I guess you could make a case for top six with the top echelon being fairly threadbare, but no.1 ? Not for me.

If fans on here wanna hold Golovkin as the best in the sport they have a very low expectation, and clearly don't watch many beyond the Kazakh.

Golovkin is P4P no.1. just ask his two biggest fans Mirko Troll Cop and Robbie Barrett... they can't stop thinking about the fact he's the GOAT

Yo me they're doing the same thing they did with Roman Gonzalez. Neither him or Golovkin have looked good in a LOOOOOONG time. So I don't see any justification for it when you have guys fighting similar levels of talent and completely dominating them.

Where does the fair and objective Boxrec computer have him ranked?

Edit: Just looked it up myself. Seems GGG is 3rd behind Terence Crawford and the new #1 Saul Canelo Alvarez

Well so much for espn's rankings. If Freedom has taught me anything it's that we all must bow to the will of the Boxrec computer. It has spoken!
