This ones easy. Cotto is old and battle worned and risk reward is great. Crawford is young and prime and is still unknown. No reason why the fight can't happen at 140 when hes the undisputed champ there.

Should be at 140. Where garcia would go for a payday is irrelevent. This is an actual fight and for a fair fight, 140. Crawford isnt killing himself to make weight, hasnt moved up yet, so what is the problem?

I like that Crawford isn't gonna play any games and is taking the next step in his career moving up. If Garcia wanted that fight he could have called for it after Broner but instead he talked about staying at 135 and fighting Linares. Crawford makes bigger purses, is ranked higher p4p, and sells more tickets than Garcia. He doesn't need him. Crawford's first test at 147 should be Jesse Vargas and then Jeff Horn. Horn will duck him though. I would love to see Crawford vs Danny Garcia/Shawn Porter.

I don't see any issue with this, it's obvious Crawford is done at 140 after all he has all the belt there, now he has already spoke about 147 as his next adventure with Arum even talking about the Horn fight. And Garcia was willing to go to 154 to fight Cotto, and he too has spoken about his willingness to fight at an higher weight.

if indeed Crawford is interest in a fight with Garcia, he will fight him now than move to WW.
Mikey is a big name. Crawford is dodging Garcia.

So Crawford moving up let's go Peterson is free right now

Crawford vs Peterson, Garcia can go after those 5 free belts Crawford is leaving at 140
