loeffler obviously didnt watch canelo-angulo, there was plenty of canelo hate in that fight too...
people didnt like byrd card on this fight, and people didnt like the referee stopage in the angulo fight, both ggg and angulo brought a loud army of fans to vegas and if you add that the hate that canelo generates for being arrogant at times then you will see the result... canelo fans were happy and cheering to see their fighter taking over the last 3 rounds of the fight, but one has to admitt as big as canelos fanbase is , the hate from the rest of the mexicans is also big... but cant do nothing about it, haters always gonna hate...

Yeah, Loeffler has no idea WHY the fans were booing. Byrd's wacko card is the culprit here, not Canelo.

That's the way I read it at the time, that the card was the main culprit. Everyone there knew they had just watched a close fight, and when the card was read it was just insulting to everyone.

But Canelo kind of aggravated it by saying he won and it felt like he was endorsing the scorecard. He could have easily just said it was a close fight, could have gone either way, then trashed that scorecard as not reflecting the fight he was just in, and got a feeling it would have been cheers and not jeers.

The fans were disappointed in several things. The first being that Canelo deserved a loss and that a draw was a farce. Compromised judging of course was not Canelo's doing but the fans were still not pleased. The second thing that disappointed the fans was that Canelo did not show up to fight, instead he showed up to use defensive skills to survive. This was so out of character for Canelo and was not paying fanse deserved. Thirdly, Canelo's blustering after the fight about how he had clearly won the fight and that he is time is now (like he thinks he is great) was ludicrous. Canelo was afraid of GGG's power and it showed.

NAILED IT....He said GGG's power wasn't "all that" which is a contradiction of what he exhibited in the ring, since he elected to jump on his bike more rather than STAND TOE TO TOE with his opponent, something he said he would do before the fight....you could tell those boos were bothering him as well.
