Golovkin literally has near zero leverage to even demand 30% of the pot, lol.
Baloney. He is going to make more money with Golovkin than anyone else in the Middleweight division.

Not when he's giving up 45% of the pot he's not.

Alvarez vs Lemieux will deliver big business on Mexican TV, draw well on PPV, and do monster business in Canada (with Alvarez basically only giving up the Canada money to me things work).

Alvarez vs Saunders (c) will likely be Box Office in the UK, will do fine on US PPV, and still do monster business in Mexico (for the cost of the UK rights and maybe twice whatever US money that Liam Smith got).

Every other fight, outside of possibly fighting Daniel Jacobs, Alvarez can basically have for 15% of whatever comes from the US money.

      Nice try

The Canadian dollar is down 22 percent as of today. It depends on oil prices. It won't do huge numbers in Canada. Canada has 1/10 the population of the US and 1/5 the population of Mexico and Canadian's aren't huge boxing fans. The impact from Canada isn't great enough to offset the revenue loss from fighting Lemieux. No Canelo stands to make the most money from fighting Golovkin. Dodging Golovkin again is a risk he may not want to take if he doesn't want to erode his fan base. I'm not saying G will get 45% but he will do better financially in the rematch.

Possibly, but not by much. Canelo is getting to where he can demand how much he wants.

Maybe maybe not. His last outing was a disappointment for his fans.

Time will tell. I believe both Triple G and Canelo deserve eyes on them every time they fight
