Maybe Gervonta didn't do it but the fact he got accused speaks to something very off putting in his character. When you get falsely accused of these things it is because you evoked hatred in the other person. You evoke those emotions when you are a cunt. Thats the best case scenario. The worst case scenario is that he actually did commit the crime. From the sound of the charge he probably just beat some common folk up with only his hands. I'm suprised they didn't call it aggravated assault with a deadly weapon but then again they already called a simple misdemeanor a first degree felony. Still, Tank put himself in this position with poor decision making. Everyone expected him to mess up. Looks like he is proving them right here. He can right the ship. Even Floyd made several mistakes on the come up and with the domestic violence debacle. This just isn't a good look for Tank at all. He could very easily squander away all his god given talent. Odds are he will be an underachiever and out of the ring issues will prevent him from reaching his potential.

Don't forget, Roy Jones Jr. actually fought HIS OWN FAN inside the ring. Lol!

What is with some of these fighters not being willing to fight the best in the ring, but being willing to fight random people outside the ring.

Floyd was willing to fight women outside the ring, but not prime Pacquiao in the ring.

Broner was willing to do both, fight the best in the ring, for a change, but also hit people outside the ring.

Now Gervonta Davis is allegedly willing to fight someone outside the ring, but not fight Lomachenko in the ring.

It's bad for the sport, and for everyone involved. I don't get it.

I hate to see this happen with a youmg talented fighter like Gervontae but he seems to be going down the Adrien Broner path. I got a real bad feeling about him when i saw his last fight on the floyd undercard.
