before the Froch fight, I stated that Ward will most likely retire undefeated..... and that nobody should fall in love with any fighter from 168-175 until after he retires
retiring undefeated, leaving behind a string of high profile victims
way to go champ
going out on his terms
like a boss
you all can fall in love with fighters from 168-175 now, if you wishComment

pure crap. both guys tried to fight him and ward turned them down. you just make this crap up or what? you listen to andre ward fake news network or something? also wards offer was turned down by ggg but you ever wonder why? go to my thread for proof it wasnt a duck. when you find out why it wasnt a duck you will start asking other questions such as "why did ward want anotehr tune up before fighting ggg when he just had one?"

He realised it was hopeless to keep boxing if he was never going to get any recognition. Besides the handful of posters on here, the vast majority of people IRL didn't find him appealing enough to follow, and without fans you might as well pack it up. Boxing is entertainment for the masses, not for bragging rights on a forum about how blows weren't/were low...etc. No one cares. Was he good to watch? No. Will he be missed? What's there to miss?Comment
