No Redd. I am not happy for Ward's retirement one bit. It's guys like Atlas in this last ggg vs Nelo bout regarding "corrupt judges" that guys like Ward (with that P4P interview where they are in disgust with teddys p4p) that why in the hell would he stay in boxing. He can't even trust espn because of his insecurities. It's bullshıt. And the forum happy for it is a disgust. This is why the rebellion is apparent on this board
Thank You, Ward HATERS, you made it a fun ride.

As a fan of the sport through decades, I am very happy that Ward has quit. A great day. I am also happy if I have given you some fine days with my Ward hate posts my friend lol.One of the most fun aspects of being a Ward fan was the mass of detractors who relentlessly bashed him. Just like our current president, people decried every move he made, joyfully predicted his failure, and tried to shame everyone who supported him.
Villains are key to a good story and seeing you defeated time and time again was a joy. Even now, you're aggravated that he got the last word and left with his health, his future, and his record intact. The bickering was fun and even though you came out on the losing end, please know I still appreciate ya'.

When I think about it, I am fresh out of boxers I detest for the first time in my boxingscene career!

it wasnt a fun ride though was it. I dont think there were any classic fights, great action that ward was involved in. Noone will be saying 'can u remember that great ward fight...' in 5 years time. He will be forgotten about. Im happy to be called a 'hater' cause to me what andre ward does in and outside the ring is exactly the opposite of what i look for in a boxer.Cant stand him and glad hes gone, he was always a negative presence in the sport.Comment

We can't have that. I honestly enjoy your scathing remarks, even if I don't always agree with them. You've got a talent in that regard.Comment

My favorite part is when they have to invent new excuses every time Ward crushes their wet dreams and wins AGAIN.
Kessler - Ward headbutts.
Green/Bika - Ward only fights in Oakland.
Abraham - so unfair the fight was in LA, Ward only fights in Califonia.
Froch - Ward holds too much.
Dawson - Ward drained him.
Before Kovalev I - Ward is ducking him.
After Kovalev I - so unfair the fight was in Las Vegas or (Ward only fights in America) and the judges "robbed" Kovalev.
Before Kovalev II - Ward is ducking him AGAIN.
After Kovalev II - Ward's punches to the beltline were "nutshots"
You just can't make this shiet up

If Golovkin had ever sacked up and fought Ward, the built in excuse would be: Ward outweighed him by 75-100 lbs

That's a slightly different subject. I've got mixed feeling about it.No Redd. I am not happy for Ward's retirement one bit. As much as I want to see him carry on, he's done enough for me to say it was a great and full career, and be fulfilled as a fan. I'm not left thinking, "he's gotta fight so and so". He reached the top, once again. Good time for him to shift gears in life so I'll respect that.Comment

I never, but if he is as forward with his boxing opinions in person as he is on boxing forums it's no wonder Andre snubbed him.Comment

its an excuse to bring up how ward cheats nonstop in his fights? this is why ward fans have no crebility. they see any criticism against him as an attack whether or not it has merit. wards cheating obviously has merit but you ignore it simply because you don't like the people saying it? you would be a flat earther if ward said the earth was flat just because non ward fans say otherwise. My favorite part is when they have to invent new excuses every time Ward crushes their wet dreams and wins AGAIN.

No, it's just a lame way to discredit his wins. Some of the excuses I listed were about Ward's supposed "cheating" but others were just plain ridiculous like whining about fights being held in LA and Las Vegas?its an excuse to bring up how ward cheats nonstop in his fights? this is why ward fans have no crebility. they see any criticism against him as an attack whether or not it has merit. wards cheating obviously has merit but you ignore it simply because you don't like the people saying it? you would be a flat earther if ward said the earth was flat just because non ward fans say otherwise.
If Ward was such a feather fisted bum and Froch and Kovavlev was such killers, they couldn't have neutralized his "cheating" or fought fire with fire?? John Ruiz was the biggest cheater ever, so by the same logic he should have also retired undeafeated.
Kovalev went 20 rounds with Ward and he couldn't do chit. Why didn't the Krusher knock Ward out so he couldn't be "robbed" by the judges or gotten so unfairly wrecked to the body?Comment
