Bad move. Should have gotten in the Stevenson PPV. He's 33 and has had years of inactivity. Seems a little premature. I guess Kovalev fights took a lot out of him. Kovalev retired Ward. Ward won the battles but lost the war.

That being said, it was with the notion that Canelo wasn't as fleet footed as he showed last weekend. I'm going to have to see Loma and Rigo and reevaluate then
Its all good bro,I think lomas very skilled but I base p4p off resumes before anything else & imo thats how boxers should be judged. I think loma vs rigo is a great fight & I will still give loma props if he wins, but I want to see him fight berchelt(injured I know) or mikey at any weight & he would be instantly considered p4p #1 worthy if he beat garcia esp.I actually like lomachenkos style & believe he has a lot of potential,I just aren't ready to coronate him yet.

For someone named ggg glove king at least you don't behave like some other ggg fans like billyboxing, one punch, mantis teabagger, etc. even if I think your biased.

Well, that's the end of Roc Nation in boxing. This shows me that Roc Nation will not deal with Haymon (Beyoncé had sued Haymon a long time ago). It is that or Ward just does not want to fight Superman for whatever reason. Let him move up and try a fight against AJ. Why not if you are just gonna retire anyway? I bet he could find the motivation if he was fighting the best HW of today.

Regardless, truly an all-time great in the sport. Amazing resume, was always willing to fight the best, and is the #1 p4p fighter today if he changes his mind.

I think there is a better chance than not, that this is it. He doesn't seem like an idiot, so financially he should be good. And he is very unlikely to get the kind of money someone has good and accomplished as him deserves. If him and Virgil ran around being lil media whores like some then he could. Ward-Kovalev one and two were two of the very best p4p fighters today, still near prime, both were exciting, great fights and both basically bombed on ppv.

            Mad respect for Ward.

Will we see Ward back in 2 years for a fight vs. Golovkin at LHW? That's honestly the only fight I can see that would draw him back to the sport. If it takes longer than that, I don't see him coming back at all.

Mikey and Loma would be an awesome fight to watch. I'm looking forward to seeing how he deals with Rigo.

I'll take that last part as a compliment, lol

                    That's a shame
I would've loved to have seen him dismantle Stevenson
He would've taken that left hand away and made him look extremely basic

Oh well, enjoy retirement. I feel I didn't get too really gain any attachment as a fan towards him. A few more fights would've really done him wonders. But he had a great career in the timeframe he had
