If Kovalev genuinely felt like he won against Ward or that Ward needed the ref, he wouldn't be fighting Shabranskyy who was knocked out by Barrera. He would most likely be fighting Barrera who has significant momentum and is under the Main Event Banner. Unless Kov strings some wins together, he should let the Ward fights go.Comment
