Close fight ended in a draw. Yes the Byrd card was bad, but the decision wasn't. People were always going to cry robbery in a close fight, Byrds card helps Golovkins fans to make the excuse.

Anything not 116-112 or 115-113 (cause the 10th was close) for golovkin is the wrong score card period. When are you casuals gonna realize it's only right one way??

It didnt ruin the fight...but for a moment when that score was announced i thought..."funk i hate boxing". I love boxing and when moments like that happen...i take it personally. It makes me realise that those who are the best at their craft dont even care how good they are...they just think about the next dollar. ODLH used to be a great competitor and a gracious loser...but now its all for the nose candy.

To me this video shows GGG controlling most of the fight and Canelo backing-up and taking more than giving.

get the **** out of here were the first words out of my mouth when I heard 118-110.

it made me not want to see a rematch. there is no point now, we know GBP has a judge in every canelo fight. the jig is up

I still enjoyed the fight, it was a good one. Good in a re-watch as well.
I can't but credit both guys for the fight they out on.
It put a damper on things though for me.

More of another blot on the sport overall i feel. It was a pretty predictable scenario.
We look forward to good fights, but then think 'i hope the scoring is fair' in the build up, which does take the fun out of things.

The problem is the 118-110. People see fights different, score them different, all the close rounds could be given to one guy etc. So you can always expect a spread.
But 118-110 is way off the charts which every way you look at it.

We've always had bad cards, always will. We will see more this weekend.
I don't know what they can do about it, but they need to try take a look at things.

I feel cards like that do ruin it for fans of the sport.

The draw was more disappointing than the Byrd scorecard. There's always one outlier scorecard in a big fight or any fight for that matter. The fight didn't live up to the hype for me. Canelo did not fight his best and neither did Golovkin. I don't buy people saying it was the level of competition.

As far as the draw, if this was Arum or an old Don King promotion people would be crying foul about the decision. For some reason, more people are blaming Byrd for a bad scorecard rather than GBP for the draw. Everyone was saying Canelo wouldn't lose a decision. Guess what, he didn't. For a fight of this magnitude to end in a draw when one fighter was clearly better is a huge disappointment. For those people that think Canelo won, a draw shouldn't be acceptable either. Yet, I would bet the people that went for Canelo are more accepting that it was a draw.

The mere fact that she scored it for the diva was an insult. But then to allege that the diva won 10 rounds is like waiving the money that GBP paid her in the faces of all the fans.
