I'm no expert on all this commotion, but isn't Tyson the #2 fighter in the UK, behind Joshua? It isn't like this is some random boxer ranked 137th or whatever. And events he is in DO bring a bunch of revenue wherever they're held. I guess England must be flush with cash and don't need a boost anywhere north to south. Sounds like somebody in charge (whoever that would be) needs to put their foot up somebody's back door and get this show on the road. Then let the chips fall where they may.

Imo, the outcome of the hearing will depend on whether the tribunal accept that there is another explanation for traces of nandrolone in Tyson and Hughie's urine other than that they took it themselves ... eg a contaminated legal suplement.

I think both sides will be calling expert witnesses to give their opinions, and citing the results of studies carried out by different labs. Something like that could be the evidence UKAD are talking about.

And lets not forget that the original reason for postponing the hearing was an objection by UKAD, not the Furys.

Almost everything you wrote there is complete bollocks.

Tyson was popped for coke by VADA, not UKAD. That is one of the reasons his licence was suspended though. The other is that he was ruled medically unfit to box because of his mental state.

There are various reasons why, nevertheless, the charges have not yet been heard on the merits. All parties are currently awaiting a ruling from the NADP tribunal on an application made by the athletes to exclude certain evidence...
