Hadn't seen much of Taylor until the Davies fight, he is impressive. Vazquez is washed up and moving up in weight, Taylor wins a wide decision in an ugly fight

Pretty much what I see. Vazquez is a wrestler and mauls better than he punches. Can't see him muscling younger and bigger guys at home. He'll make it ugly at best.

This is a real tough test. I guess Taylors people are hoping Vazquez is shot because if he isn't, his size and strength will cause Taylor all sorts of problems.

A good step up, he would definitely learn a lot from this fight. I could see a Salido/Lomachenko scenario here.

              Terrible idea.
Not sure what condition Vasquez is in these days but I reckon its really good development fight.

Maybe it wont be entertaining but Taylor should learn a lot vs MV.

If he wins convincingly or even stops him then it sends a hell of a message

Even if JT wins he's very likely going to look horrible in the process. It'll give fighters an excuse to duck him.

If Vasquez wins he gets robbed . If its close (good chance) they'll shout robbery.
I just don't think the timing is right. Vasquez isn't a guy you fight unless you have no choice he's almost impossible to look good against. High risk, no reward really.
