    After St. Valentines Day Massacre against Sugar Ray Robinson he rematched Ray 3 weeks later. Sugar Ray did a tune up fight a week before the rematch. These guys were a different breed to the fighters of this generation.

              Practically impossible to find a fighter any tougher than Jake. The guy simply would not give up. And what an amazingly full life he led, good times and bad. R.I.P. champ.
