      im super embarrassed to admit but I didn't even know this legend was still alive!! He lived a LONG life and had a great career.

            It's hard to believe really. I'm so used to boxers dying young, but he made it to 95. I heard he did stand up in his later years.

            I need to watch Raging Bull now.

                    I remember reading the book on his life many a year back.
                    The stuff about his criminal activities, his dive, the mob the Robinson saga.
                    The part about the bookie Harry Gordon always stands out.

                    The guy lived a crazy life.
