Canelo's game has really evolved since the Floyd fight. His defense is pretty good and I'm surprised his upper body movement and punches are as quick as they are for a stocky/thicker guy.

That was a good, intense fight to watch Saturday night!

Since when did trainers become so arrogant and talk so much ****. Since when did trainers start to think that they are the stars? Some trainers, especially Sanchez have turned into narcissists. Too many trainers nowadays get 1 maybe 2 good fighters and all of a sudden the trainers think they are Mr Miyagi. Abel Sanchez could not hold Emmauel Stewards jock strap.

What lame contradictory excuse by Sanchez. If anything knowing the fight might go 12 rds would make GGG want to go the the body more in order to wear down Alvarez, in order to slow his movement, weaken his punches, etc.

I wouldn't have come out and said that if i was Sanchez, because this makes it look like GGG can't deal with movement (Upperbody or feet movement).

Bigdummy's obsession on running down Golovkin is unhealthy.

You're not even a boxing fan, a fan supports something. You spend 90% of your time attacking a boxer.

That's why I had no problem with fight being a draw Byrd scorecard made the fight controversial but canelo movement slipping punches and countering was cleaner, triple g jab and canelo taking breaks in rounds was his downfall for not winning rounds more decisive

I thought Canelo had a great game plan. He didnt run all night either. Landed some good shots...
He did. But even with a great game plan, which included stalling the fight for over a year, he still couldn't beat a 35 yo Golovkin.

I would buy that excuse if Canelo didn't go to ropes and pretty much invited him to land shots to the body. He was head hunting and missing when his body was right there and not going anywhere. So what if he got countered. Isn't he supposed to have an iron chin? Isn't he the guy that will take 3 or 4 punches to land one? I don't deny the possibility that Golovkin made the choice on his own but the excuse his trainer is making isn't cutting it.
