If canelo won as some think, why did his fans boo him and the decision

Sounded to me like they were booing the crazy scorecard and the fact that the fight was a draw. Nobody likes draws.
Plus there were more than a few occasions where there were G-G-G chants, so it's fair to say there might have been quite a few GGG fans in the arena.

His Mexican fans were booing him because they expect him to stand still and trade with a slugger known to be a knockout artist. It is a Mexican cultural boxing ideal that tactics such as those employed by MW, SRL, SRR, MA and other greats are indicative of cowardice.
De la Hoya listened to the Mexican fan critics over the way he had fought during the last several rounds in his bout against Trinidad, tried to please them by being less defensive and more aggressive and ruined his career in the process by losing while trying to trade with sluggers.
That's the only reason why they booed. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with who won the fight. It is the way in which Canelo won it that irks their macho ideals..
