you really see things differently. Canelo did not make that comment once 5 min before the fight. He said it repeatedly throughout the entire promotion of the fight. And if you think Canelo came out of this situation with more shine then you're crazy. He was being booed by his own fans immediately following the fight. Just about everyone at press row had Canelo losing and nearly every boxer who weighed in on the topic either by social media or interviews claimed ggg got jerked. Except for Oscar and Hopkins of course. And nobody is criticizing him for not knocking out ggg. He's being critisized for not even trying to go forward at any point in the fight after saying he would. And also he's taking the heat for getting his customary ridiculous scorecard which happens in every single big canelo fight.

1.canelo did duck him. No secret there. 2. I actually expected the fight to go 12 and there are posts on here where I clearly said that although I think ggg will win, Canelo always gets shady scorecards. And guess what happened? 3. Only Canelo fan boys like u are defending the decision. You guys are happy with the draw because it allows you to make trash arguments to justify it. Just like Chavez fans continue to try and justify his draw vs Whitaker all these yrs later. Whatever makes you happy though. Everyone else knows who really won the fight and deep down, when that fight ended on Saturday, you knew who really won too. The judges just gave you an excuse to keep on pretending that Canelo is as good as you hoped he was.
