"Nothing to prove"? 70-80% of fans thought Golovkin won.
75% of press row thought Golovkin won, with more press thinking it was a draw than Canelo winning.

"Not even close"? his own promoter (DLH) thought he won by a round.

"ggg is not on on Canelo's level"? No I think he is slightly above him still.

"Not even close"? Yes it is close, either way you think about it.

Come on this is straight up noob stuff you are spouting.
Look diegito, I understand what everyone thinks. I know what I saw. Watch it again... Canelo won 5 out of the first 6 round if not all of them and won the last three... that leaves the 7th 8th and 9th which were all close. Ggg looked slow, couldn't adjust to canelos counter punching and even when canelo took breaks, sat on the ropes to challenge the God puncher, ggg didn't do ANYTHING!!! At all. I don't really care for what media and other people say. I know what I saw. Watch it again, canelo was even out jabbing ggg the first half of fight till he got tired, landed the harder shots, made ggg miss all night, had the better body work, ggg put more pressure and jabbed a lot more, that's what makes him win? Going forward and jabbing, hitting 1 out of 7 jabs he throws? Na bro, I ain't buying it... Canelo won

I judge the fight by what I see not by what, hbo, compubox, lederman, or anyone else for that matter says. Watch the fight! Canelo won easy. Ggg was missing everything he threw, getting countered all night, when canelo engaged... he was working ggg, when he took time off to rest... ggg did nothing

Lmao, her score card wasn't too far off... ggg isn't as good as advertised. He lost. He is slow, and one dimensional. But this usually happens to power punchers, they get used to winning by ko so much that when it's to box... they can't. Not his fault, all the cans he fought to gain his rep is now back firing when he fights real fighters... sad

Just fight his first fight at 160 and it es against ggg who had been at 160 his whole career... Canelo will do better in rematch and if he fixes his stamina issues, the ko is highly likely.
                    EXACTLY.

STAMINA is what Canelo has ALWAYS been lacking. Stamina is ESSENTIAL to be a winner at boxing. I don't remember any of the all-time greats having huge stamina issues like Canelo does. That's why I don't consider he will ever be an ATG himself.

Stamina is what helped GGG look like a never-tiring Energizer bunny vs. Canelo. Honestly, Canelo even looked like a cowardly fighter, similar to the likes of Lara, Rigondeaux, Mayweather Jr., but he wasn't cowardly by will, he had to go backwards to the ropes to get some breath, to recover, to rest because of his incredibly pathetic stamina issues. It's incredible IMHO that he has come so far in boxing, having such incredibly poor aerobic capabilities.

I watched both GGG-Canelo and GGG-Jacobs fights. One after the other, both in their entirety.

I realized that Jacobs, even though he was way bigger than Canelo when he fought GGG, did not have ANY stamina issues at all. So he stayed in the pocket and traded with GGG way more than Canelo did. Jacobs looked, IMHO, way better vs. GGG than Canelo himself. To me, both Jacobs and Canelo deserved to lose vs. GGG. But Jacobs was way more aggressive than Canelo, he wasn't sent to the ropes as much as Canelo was. Not even close.

I don't think GGG hits harder than Canelo. But I do think he has a better chin than everybody in boxing today. KOing him looks simply impossible. Even knocking him down looks real hard actually. Unless he fights another Energizer bunny like himself, who never stops stalking and throwing hard punches. But Canelo is far from that. He is the opposite to the bunny, his battery charge dies real quick each round.

Honestly, another installment of GGG-Canelo doesn't sound exciting to me at all.

I am way more intrigued by a Canelo-Jacobs fight. But this time, preventing Jacobs' cheating on the weight so he doesn't come 15+ pounds heavier than Canelo on fight night.

Even when canelo took breaks and went to the ropes, ggg did nothing! So what's that say about the great puncher ggg? Canelo have him chances, I'll tell you why ggg did nothing. He was scared to get caught coming in as he was getting caught all night. Canelo outboxed ggg all night long.
