I personally think Brook would be the best fight.

Likely a typo as it says May when I just read it

Cotto has zero intention of fighting GGG, thats BS, it was a rematch with Canelo, or bust.

Cotto wants to cash out, that's what this is all about, but he will seek smaller fighters to do it, either Canelo or GGG is a horrible fight for Cotto right now.

They need to go out with a win. Mikey Garcia is losable but atleast there is a chance Cotto's size and adequate technique will be sufficient. He certainly wont get KO'd by the lightweight if he survived 12 rounds with Canelo. He also went the distance with Mayweather, who got a stoppage in his last fight (causing brain damage). Nothing else really makes sense for December. James Kirkland would have been great but even that isn't possible after the broken nose fiasco. Margarito? Hell even though Cotto has lost a step, Margarito is a completely washed up can now. This is boxing. I guess thats the fight.
gayweather fought a bum in a circus fight. old brittle hands got no powah. coto smashes gayweather jr easily.

Maybe fight Saunders if he wants a middleweight title, or a bigger name fight and winnable against Khan, not that Amir has fought and won impressively in quite some time.

I thought i read that GGG would fight in Dec. Although i suppose they will see how he recovers, and what's going on with a Canelo rematch.

No GGG/Canelo for Cotto's last fight isn't a bad thing. They both beat him. One guy already has, and the other is way too big.

I like Cotto though, so i'm interested into seeing who he fights.
Lem and Brook could be decent.

Cotto is not fighting anyone at the full 160 and GGG is not fighting anyone below the full 160. So this fight was never going to happen. I believe he was hoping and maybe even thought that Canelo would win so they could do a rematch at 155.

I would like to see him at 154 against Khan. Pretty tough fight but he could still win, maybe by knockout, because Khan stays in the pocket too long. Another good fight would be against Brook, but he would probably lose that fight, unless Brook hasn't fully recovered from his eye injury. Or finish his career against Margarito. That should be an easy fight and they can both retire together.

                      Fight Billy Joe Saunders..............

Cotto should fight BJS who let's be honest is less dangerous than GGG or Canelo and can still make a great final payday to an illustrious career. Get 3 american refs and a British ref and go to England. Or 2 american judges and 1 american ref. Cotto has earned that right for his final fight.
