Here's an interview where he explains more. It seems like he has a legitimate deal, according to Hearn he has an option for 4-5 fights in the US next year.
American signings, interesting to see who hes got

Hearn with Haymon's roster with the ability to do what he wants would be f#cking amazing & the best possible thing that could happen for PBC & US boxing right now. Highly doubt thats the plan cuz f#cking working together & f#ck you seems to be most peoples motto in boxing & it sounds like HBO might be his partner from how the OP is steering things.

Regardless look forward to Hearn making an impact on American boxing & signing up some American boxers cuz Satan f#cking knows the average US promoter knows f#ck all about actually promoting a US fighter & putting on a good top to bottom card.

The guy running HBO now is a moron. Hearn has no fighter apart from Joshua that the American Public would tune in for or be interested in following.

If HBO Sports were smart they would have waited till the start of 2018 and got the two most exciting British starts coming through in Anthony Yarde and Daniel Dubious as a package deal.

From 2018, Yarde will be Topping Bills and Triple D will have had about 8 fights under his belt and i guarantee American audiences would get excited by these two guys.

Did that change recently? Cuz my understanding was Showtime merely had matching rights for one fight (the Pulev fight) & Joshua is a free agent again after Pulev (or at best for Showtime there is a matching rights issue & HBO will have a whole new budget to work with in 2018 that they'll be looking to spend). There is no long term commitment with Showtime from what I read.

I'd bet 2-3 of them will be Joshua fights so it'll be interesting to see who he puts on the bill for the other 2 or 3.

I read that too. I was trying to find the article before I responded.

Andrade? Ward would be a massive statement of intent, could explain the Buglioni talk.

Andre Ward is one fight from being a free agent from my understanding & he's been talking about fighting Bellew + Joshua.

I know the rumor is Arum gots dibs on Ward or the best bet to nab him post-RN, but Hearn would promote him better than anyone else.

I'm 99% sure he signs Frampton. Arum was talking up Valdez-Frampton today at a media call. Also Frampton signed an advisory deal with MTK Global (means Haymon is no longer associated with him).
