Canelo only fights twice a year and keeps fit cycling. Cycling is great for building strength and fitness. Danny Jacobs and Andre Ward are also very keen on cycling.

My initial thought was GGG could fight Charlo, Jacobs, or Saunders in December, but that might put a ton more mileage on him that he can't afford to take at 35 years old before fighting Canelo again. Maybe he should take a softer touch as a tune up and play it safe. If May rolls around and there's no Canelo fight, he can go after one of his mandos or top 3 MW.

This is actually a wise business move by GBP. Why risk their cash cow against another live MW for small money when they can shoot straight for another huge payday agains the best of the division. And besides Canelo has a good momentum and he could win next time... with a little help
