I didn't expect a belt organization to be so biased about the outcome of a fight.

I felt Golovkin won, but more of edged Canelo by a couple of rounds. While a draw isn't horrible, it's still kind of deflating to have no official/on paper resolution about "who would win between Canelo and Golovkin?"after all of the hype, ticket sales , money spent traveling to see the fight and PPV investment.

Like it was all for nothing despite a high level and entertaining fight.

Watched the fight again. No english commentary, no Hbo Lampley & co. bias. Had Canelo winning by a point. Golovkin came forward for most of the fight but missed so many punches if you watched closely. Yes, Alvarez fought in spurts a lot of the time but was accurate. If you watch the fight listening to Hbo regular commentary then anyone would think you're crazy not to pic GGG as the winner. I can see how a draw and even a win for Golovkin can be found. Totally disagree with Byrd's margin of scoring of course.

If you had Canelo winning by a point, it means you scored it 6-5-1, which is exactly how I scored it when I rewatched it.

So what's the excuse for Canelo beating Lara since he literally did the same thing Lara did when he fought Golovkin but even I gave the fight to Canelo that night....So if you had Canelo beating Lara logic would dictate by that same theory he lost Saturday. No?

I wouldn't call that getting countered all night! Canelo would start out each round throwing punches but would retreat the last 2:30 secs! Canelo did land some nice punches but far from countering all night! LOL

Oh no he was in there like a tasmanian devil according to some. The same people who threw Lara under bus for doing the same thing and the same ones that tried to argue Pacquaio lost the first fight because he only fought 20-4 seconds of a round...the hypocrisy on this website is glorious.
