Why wouldn't he be? Saunders is a favorable matchup for him and he has a belt.

I doubt he would pick canelo. First of all the most money to be made for Saunders would be a big stadium fight in the u.k. against either canelo or ggg, and I highly doubt canelo would travel to the u.k. as his home base and protection are in the states. He always fights in the states, but Ggg is willing to go anywhere to fight. Second of all why would he pick Canelo when he knows he would most likely lose to either but his reputation would be hurt less losing against ggg who is still the boogeyman of the sport. Third of all Ggg has been calling for this fight for years and has made it his life mission to capture all the belts at 160 so it would really be a dishonorable move for saunders to let Canelo take that belt when Canelo doesnt even care that much about belts as hes proved a few times, meanwhile Ggg has put in the work at 160 to get all the belts. Saunders is calling out Ggg, why does everyone want ggg to get cok blocked? Lots of haters on this site

Its pretty sad people on here have so much hatred for ggg that they are hoping he doesnt get all the belts which has been his goal from day 1. Hes already conquered everybody else and this is the last piece of the puzzle and you guys are desperate for BJS to fight anyone but Ggg. I just dont get it, hes probably the most likeable guy in the sport not only because of his vicious fighting style but hes just a genuinely nice guy. How does a fight with Cotto even make sense for Saunders? Cotto is not even a discussion at 160 and it wouldnt make him nearly as much as he would by fighting ggg or canelo.Canelo has mostly fought at his made up 155 lb weight class and almost everyone agrees that ggg beat canelo so not only would the Ggg fight be better for his reputation but also fighting ggg would make saunders more money than fighting canelo because ggg would be willing to go to the u.k. unlike canelo. Im not even sure Saunders Cotto would be a ppv fight and cotto has nothing to offer except an easier fight but for much less money and he still probably gets beat
