Saunders is actually a pretty tidy boxer when he's active and taking it seriously. GGG would destroy him though, i don't think Saunders copes well with pressure as the fight goes along, so imagine what GGG would do.

The guy is a great boxer, and GGG has trouble with that style. I say test him. What's he got to lose besides a few belts? He's the boogyman, right? Then let him fight a guy who wants to fight him.

I suspect Golovkin could take on Khan and Saunders in the same night ,back-to-back. Total would likely be less than 12 rounds, probably less than 6.

yes saunders amazing power and work rate would give ggg fits.

is this like the "he let the guy hit him" defense. saunders just isnt that good. basically every fight but monroe he won 7-5 and this includes fights agains john ryder, nick blackwell, and akavov.

People thought old man Golovkin was going to brutalize Canelo. He couldn't. I wouldn't be so sure that he convincingly beats Saunders at this point. Golovkin has been on a slow physical decline for a while now, but his fans either don't recognize it, wont admit it, or just can't fathom it.

Saunders is not a great boxer, not even close, Just as the Canelo fight had so many unknowns, Golovkin/Saunders is possibly the most predictable ever.

Golovkin applies pressure, in spades. Saunders tries to hold him off with his 'great boxing skills', but ends up on the ropes in no time - no power to hold him off. Tries to skip out - ring cut off - back on the ropes. Golovkin goes to work on the ropes, Saunders breaks down in however manyrounds it takes for him to realise he's not even close to this level.

vs Canelo it plays out a bit differently, but Canelo just has fun with it and treats it as a sparring session until he gets bored.

Jacobs out-boxes him while also breaking him down, ko in 9. Charlo starches him in the middle of the ring within 6.

If so, he doesn't have mandatory obligations right now.

He's got Charlo, and I think Derevyanchenko is the IBF, but like Canelo, Saunders could also be negotiated to count as a mando too.

                  Its that flexible.
I just don't want see what happened to Tyson and Crawford.

Hell WILDER almost was almost forced to fight Stivirne or lose that belt
