If GBP snatches Saunders for December either for Canelo or Cotto, does GGG sits out until the Canelo rematch or fights Charlo as is WBC mandatory or Jacobs rematch (I had the first fight 114-113 GGG)? Snatching Saunders in the meantime might force GGG into a tough fight. Jacobs, Canelo and Jaccobs/Charlo, that's FOY material! However, I surely wouldn't mind Jacobs vs Charlo.

Would prefer Saunders next over waiting until bloody May for a rematch with Canelo. Doubt December is a possibility with the damage GGG took, then there is a whole list of mandatory fights due. GGG has a busy 18 months coming up!

I doubt Golovkin's camp is keen on having a rematch with Jacobs, or a fight against Lara or Charlo. Maybe Charlo beats all of them, including Canelo.

If Canelo wants the rematch in May i doubt there'll be any Golovkin fight before, the rematch clause won't allow it.

If the rematch isn't next, i wonder if Canelo will be interested in a BJS fight?

Would much rather see this fight than a Canelo rematch. It looks like Golovkin has Alvarez's number with the pressure and chin of his own. Be like a Ward/Kovalev 2, probably more decisive for Gennady. Canelo could rule 155 for years. He makes the weight fine from what I've read.

The only interest for me is to see if Golovkin can win in brutal fashion like he used to or if his best days are definitely behind him.
Brings to mind Teddy Atlas's description of Golovkin's opposition before Jacobs:

'he's like that playground bully that likes to pull the wings off flies'

He'll rip Saunders's wings off and feed them to him. Golovkin's still firing on all cylinders, I don't believe for a second he's diminished yet, he's just come up against elite opposition for the first time and had to prove he belongs. Yes I believe Jacobs is elite and that we'll see him prove it if he hasn't already.

Saunders has no power to bother Golovkin and will be up on the ropes in the first round, and he doesn't have anything close to Canelo's uppercut or defence to stop the damage that will get handed out when he's there. Saunders falls in 3.

After the canelo fight GGG should take some time off he took a lot of big shots from canelo and has the right to rest. BJ won't beat him anyway.

I have it the other way around. Next fight Canelo is the one that will do better.
