        yes probably but at least he didnt wait till he was knocked cold until fighting him. i know thats a low standard but some shameful boxers do that

          Ortiz should have got a WBA title shot two year ago. The only reason he didn't is because Joshua was going to rematch Klitschko. I am not a Wilder fan but he deserves credit for it.

            Wilder took the fight bc he would look foolish in comparison to Joshua who would have Klitchko , Pulev , AND Ortiz along with probably Parker while Wilder having Stiverne and who knows who in 2018 besides Joshua at the end of that year .. Wilder also getting bombarded by the boxing world has also got to him for lack luster journey so far .

            No CHAMPION boxer gets credit for doing what their suppose to be doing and thats fighting top fights .


            Lets hope he defeats 50 year old Ortiz now bc Joshua vs Wilder is the fight that will be more pleasant to cover .
