Is Deontay Wilder fighting Luis Ortiz because he's looking old and faded?

Deontay Wilder avoided Luis Ortiz a few years ago, when the Cuban looked devastating against Jennings.

But he looked older and faded in his past fight. He wasn't able to knock down the British journeyman Allen. He's been inactive since then, and he'll turn 39 a few months from now.

Is this why Wilder is finally brave enough to face him?

        When was that?

Back a few years ago when Ortiz was looking like a good HW?

But now he's coming up on age 39, and past his prime. So WIlder has lost his fear, same as Mayweather lost his fear when he saw Pacquiao KOed by Marquez.

ive got to give him credit man. i dont think ortiz is amazing but in this climate of heavyweights hes one of the best. I said wilder wouldnt fight him and hes signed up for it so i cant complain. should be a good fight.

So he should just pass on Ortiz and fight Dillian Whyte?

He should fight the real HW champion Anthony Joshua, BUT HE NEVER WILL.
