GGG Wasn't Allowed To Throw Body Shots...

I am convinced.
The logic that he was afraid to get countered upstairs makes no sense because he was getting hit flush moving forward all fight anyway. And he was getting countered throwing his looping right hand.
Did he stop moving forward? Did he stop throwing the looping right?
No and No.
Was it like Jacobs where GGG had to fight him in the middle of the ring? No... it was against the ropes.
He simply completely abandoned his body attack which has carried him so far in his career. His body attack is what broke Kell Brook by the 5th(faster than canelo with movement and counters). Lemiuex. Murray etc.
I'm sorry to say but GGG took a bribe for money. He's ensured a rematch now. part 2....Comment

ahh *** you are ******.
how many stoppages does Canelo have to the body? Liam Smith?
GGG has Lemiuex, Murray, Brook, Macklin, and the list goes on and on. Except Brook, all full fledged middleweights too.
he has just as many body finishes as he does head shots.
that's how effective his body attack is. it's on a completely different level from Canelo's body attack game.
Completely different levels.Comment

it was like Jake Lamotta vs Bill Fox. he just threw punches to make it look real.
it wasn't a sustained attack like how he always does.
even when the decision was read, he was laughing. he didn't seem seriously bummed.
honestly it's because he didn't tarnish his legacy AND he's doubling up on the payday.
let's say he gets 15-20 mil. it's doubled.
If he didn't land Canelo, who would he fight? Charlo for 3 mil? or BJS for 5 mil?
it makes no sense financially. he secured the rematch with a perfect performance and drama.Comment

He did throw some body shots but it's not enough. This should be the job of abel to remind him that it is a vital part of his overall weapon. If he goes to the body more, he'd probably tire out Canelo even more and maybe he could open him up so that those loaded overhand right could finally connect more solidly.
He would probably get hit more but his chin can easily take Canelo's best punch anyway. In the rematch, we could expect this body punch bonanza to be there for sure.Comment

Come on man, I watched the fight with all the boxers from the gym, and this O.G. Ex fighter straight called it.
He said GGG just got old, he could see the shots but he just couldn't pull the trigger in time, and the more he missed the more he fought with his heart instead of his head.
Able if he was this great trainer should of calmed him down and had him working the body.Comment
