listen you ******, that's the point.

He was missing a lot of the head shots when he could've thrown to the body like he always does.

    that is my point.

I don't know what their records are but the ex fighter who said it was the head trainer and he's around 65 years old and been in or around the game all of his life.

We also had GGG winning the fight but we were all yelling for him to go to the body and then he made the observation, and after he did what I was watching made sense to me.

I honestly think that all of this crap was agreed to before the fight because ODLH knew Candelita couldn't beat GGG. Like, he said "Hey, we can make SO much money if we just have a draw in the first bout and have a rematch with no strings attached." GGG's team thinks, they won't catch a loss and they'll all make bank the second go round.

The only problem is that ONLY Candelita had the rematch clause and they will surely avoid it seeing as how GGG was essentially paid to take it easy on the "young buck" and the "old man" still kicked his ass 8-4. ODLH really wanted to use this fight to see just how his pride and joy would compete and he saw WAY more than he wanted to.

GGG will easily KO him in the rematch, thus we will NEVER see it.

Some very rich people could make a whole lot of money sending millionaires up to the moon for weekend moon vacations. It's a shame no one has capitalized on that business venture yet.....given how easy it is for us to go up there and the state of technology these days.

historically, GGG only lets his hands go when the opponent is on the ropes. hise time he still didnt even with his opponent on the ropes

"wasn't allowed"?!! .....he just didn't.That, to me was the biggest mystery of the whole bout.

One of the previous replies stated that GGG looked a little old, I agree on that and that he never was able to land the right hand flush too. If he attacked the body like Canelo did I think the outcome would have been vastly different.

The fact that Canelo backpedaled thru most of the fight and when he did land, it had little effect. That showed me that he actually didn't belong in there. Didn't Oscar advertise this bout as "two fighters going forward"?

Another theory besides father time on why GGG looks flat and old and lacking in sharpness is due to postponing a pre-fight tune up before Canelo, he is supposed to fight one more to bridge the fight before Canelo and it was postponed because Golden Boy didn't allow him.

So his last fight was Daniel Jacobs, which was not too long either, but there are fighters who needs to constantly fight in order to keep their sharpness and motor in perfect condition. Maybe that's why GGG is now eager to fight immediately, in December.

Elon Musk is already doing that with Spacex, it's going to become the norm in the next few decades.
