What changes things is money. The only way this is changing is if the money dries up and that happens by people not buying PPVs. I don't know we will see but this fight as good as it was felt like a big stain on boxing at a time when it can't afford that many more. I've never had so many people I know who are more than casual fans say that's it, they aren't going out of their way to see boxing. But who knows maybe the breaking point hasn't been reached, maybe there isn't a breaking point and people will always come around. IDK, but something felt different or maybe it was just me.

The hopeful part of this year has been the return of championship level boxing on network TV, and non-PPV platforms. The sad part has been the controversial decisions in the biggest fights, on the biggest stages, i.e. Ward vs. Kovalev, Pacquiao vs. Horn, and now GGG vs. Canelo!
