Maybe Canelo wants to fight some other guys in the interim and let Golovkin get older. Oscar will use the same trick that he used before...We'll have to wait another year or two to see the rematch. That's fine. In the meantime Canelo can fight Jacobs. That would be an interesting fight.

I think Charlo is a mandatory for GGG. There are Russian Oligarchs who might be interested in putting in big bucks if he fights a Russian. But I guess he is a national hero in his home country so they would be happy to support him regardless of who he fights.

He has to fight the perfect defensive fight to not get stopped and take lots of thudding punches that will shorten his career. He has to move non top for 12 rounds, and never take his foot off the gas, have no time to rest, and have this robot always in front of you absorbing any punches with no effect. It's a nightmare. Take the gift Draw and run. If Canelo fought Mexican style he would not have been able to take it. I give him credit for his survival approach and defence, but that's not winning.

Golovkin shouldn't fight him at all because he is aging, declining and past his prime at 160. While on the other hand, Canelo appears to have reached his peak at 160; Where he appears to be stronger and more energetic than in times past.

Personally, I believe that GGG has outgrown the division. It's now time for him to move up in weight just like Canelo did where he'll be stronger and have more timing, snap and pop on his power punches again.

Canelo was running the whole fight. Landed flash shots but he won only in some episodes. GGG controlled the whole fight, landed tons of jabs. Canelo only ran. He was worse than Lara against Canelita.

And Golovkin is still with the belts
