Why Couldn't Triple G Land CLEAN?

Just re-watched the fight, in 12 rounds, GGG landed 3 flush punches. His work was messy and inaccurate

Canelo landed clean uppercuts, bodyshots, right hands, hooks, combos

Why couldn't GGG land clean, Canelo was on the ropes, there for the taking, he even stood in the pocket,

You GGG fan boys need to STFU and stop crying, if i were a judge i would be awarding the guy doing the clean work, not the guy walking forwards like a human punchbag and only throwing a ****ty jab

Canelo landed the more QUALITY punches in each round

He has no inside game, he was hesitant to throw. No body shots. Canelo's defense bothered him. He's a Eastern Euro fight at the end of the day. They always revert to these weird habits from their school. His pressure was all good til he got Canelo to the ropes. Then he did **** else. Very perplexing.

It was funny seeing it unfold.

Canelo would stand infront of him and make him miss a combination then counter with a combination of his own and ggg just looked completely lost.

He threw very very sloppy punches and his jab was slow and ugly.

But ggg was the guy with over 350 amateur fights and thr gold medalist yet you wudda thought it was the other way around.

even the stuff that landed only partially landed, which took the sting out of GGGs punches

Canelos defensive maneuvers were on-point, i am actually surprised how well Canelo moved his head, his body, reflexes.

          jabs don't count?

golovkin didn't land his bombs cleanly often, but a lot of his work was hitting the mark, particularly the jab.

you're also forgetting that these two have sparred and canelo knew what he was in for, which is an advantage against a puncher.

he was wearing big pillow gloves and his opponent was as well...

when you combine the two its hard to find the chin

in a real fight you don't wear big ass pillow gloves so we will never truly know who the better fighter was... i have a feeling it was Canelo though

Because Canelo is very slippery and much slicker than some fans gave him credit for and has good reflexes. He made GGG look Silly and Slow at times. He just stayed on the Ropes too much when instead he should've used the clinch and turned GGG like he started doing late in the fight when he got a little tired

Golovkin is one dimensional on offense. Neutralize the right hand like Canelo did with slipping + rolling and Golovkin doesn't have much else. I was very impressed with Canelo's defensive skills even though I had Golovkin winning the fight on paper with his higher activity and punches landed. Canelo landed more solid power punches in the fight.
