I scored it a Draw, didn't think the fight was hard to score actually.
I Gave Canelo Rd's 1, 2, 3, 10, 11 and 12.
I gave GGG 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9.
A couple of those rds could be swapped around for either guy as they were tight.
After 9 Rds i had GGG winning 6-3 and honestly thought he was going to win this comfortably or even score a late stoppage as Canelo seemed to be tiring but Canelo just came on those championship rds and scored the bigger more telling punches so i gave him all 3 even though GGG was probably the more active fighter.
I don't score rds based on Activity or Punch Stats, I score rds based on who landed the more meaningful and accurate punches.
People need to stop focusing on the Byrd Card which i agree was pathetic, the other two Judges called this fight right!
I would have been fine if GGG or Canelo had got this by 7-5 but i think a Draw was the right result.
LOOOOOVED this fight too, had action, great boxing and defence from Canelo and good energy from GGG.
REMATCH PLEASE for May 2018.Comment

GGG came forward the whole fight, his best punch was that jab because Canelo was on his bike and counter in spurts, even though GGG came forward he wasn't effective enough, he was throwing but not landing, I was surprised he wasn't gassed from missing a lot of his shots because he was headhunting, trying to take Canelo out. Canelo definitely landing those Hollywood shots but he too didn't land often. All in all I had Canelo winning close but thought a draw made sense.Comment
