  • John Duddy...

... I've been reading about this prospect in magazines from both sides of the Atlantic. What's the word on him so far, to be sure?

duddy is exciting to watch. He swarms and throw something in the neighbor of 7,000 punches per round.

I think he can go all the way, but not for a while yet.

Duddy is great against average or above average opposition. If he ever steps it up to a top level he will get crushed. He has a huge Irish fan base and is making more cash than alot of top boxers so I don't think he will be stepping it up anytime soon. As long as he can stay undefeated and continue fighting the level boxers he faces why take a risk?

I'd would love to see him fight a Taylor,Miranda,Abraham,Sturm,Wright,Soliman or even Pavlik.
I don't think he would last 3 rounds with any of these guys.

That's a point, I don't suppose any boxer has any obligation to fight at a higher level anyway, do they? It's not all about winning titles, at the end of the day the man's making a living.
